To date, I knew I had a group, which obviously were companies like Apple, which was totally against the famous hacks smartphones and devices like iPhone and iPod, and claimed this was a violation of the DMCA in the U.S., so logically it was a totally illegal act. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, has been updated with a few exceptions to what is stated above, with which both users of iPhone and iPod Touch iPad can perform the famous Jailbreak with complete legality.
This prevents Apple's technical services to prevent customers to bring their handsets to take their devices under warranty if they have been damaged by the Jailbreak process, not violating the DMCA, which were based on its rejection.
