A widow in distress , at the mercy of a relative with the intention of turning it into her lover, a thief you want to recover what is theirs, thus we have Anna and Julian . And in this case fits very well the saying that looks can be deceiving. The first error is less price Julian looks innocent and harmless from Anna. The last thing you expect is a child-looking young woman threw him down when he proposes to flee with emeralds about ensuring they are yours. The truth is that Anna is suddenly faced with something that would allow his brother to flee and start a new life without suspecting that his decision will impact on the life of the thief.
First his characters do not strike me as usual for this genre (which I am grateful) but not with its own light shine but they have a interesting point. Julian I liked his insecurity about accepting that a woman could love alone. Anna highlight value in undertaking a long journey to start from scratch. There are a couple who left their mark on the reader still share scenes that I liked. The story is also interesting for my taste nonetheless certain aspects go a bit unnoticed as long as Julian spends in jail. When Julian is reunited with Anna hoped otherwise, a tug of war is more intense, a love-hate relationship, and that revenge is the reason for the reunion. But no, the thing does not go beyond a broken vase and little else, the story takes a twist that I did not expect. Although very well written has a bug in my opinion, I am not in favor of long descriptions, so even himself I like reading a novel, the author knows located in the vicinity. Green Eyes In traveled to Ceylon, but except for some details I did not feel very involved in the environment and might well have been China and Madagascar. Iene plot predictable aspects but maintains the reader's attention and I think that it is a plus.
Once again I have ventured to an author who did not know and in the historical romance genre and still do not know how to evaluate Green Eyes, with some weak points (it was like moving through a layer sand and then another of lime), the characters do not stand within the genus the novel either, but I spent a pleasant time with the story, Julian and Anna, two singles and a common enemy. It is one more novel, to distract him without thinking too much and move on.
